I know... 3 inches of powder don't justify starting the D4. I could have used the plow truck. It would have been faster, easier, cheaper, warmer, but where is the fun in that! The D4 done quite well. Only one mishap. I forgot to put a carter key in one of the pins in the over head, the pin came out and the over head came forward and bent the pre-cleaner pipe. But I got that fixed. I was impressed when it started and there was still snow on the front half of the head. So the old diesel must be in good shape. Think this is the best $100 Cat I've ever bought!
. If everything works out the first picture will be of the Cat when I hauled it home in august. The next 3 pictures will be of it pushing snow today.

But is wasn't any worse than hydraulic oil below zero. All in all pretty pleased with it. I didn't get any pictures. I've been hastling with my computer it crashed the day before yesterday and I just got it running again.
